Trisha Ruiz (28 and a legal analyst) and Greg Hammond (28 and a legal analyst) wanted an elegant garden wedding flecked with gold and bursts of fresh, springy colors. Their outdoor reception in the gorgeous walled garden at the Winnetka Community House in Winnetka, Illinois, provided the perfect backdrop for their theme, and a palette of white, pink, coral and purple completed the look. Simple, single flower centerpieces allowed the variety of candles displayed on the table to take center stage. The reception was preceded with a romantic, traditional ceremony at Sacred Heart Parish where the couple had a moving cord and a veil ceremony as they exchanged their vows. After dinner everyone enjoyed an enormous dessert table, with a beautiful cake by Vanille, cookies, cupcakes, petits fours, and macarons. In fact, Trisha and Greg made sure there were more desserts than their guests could finish, because they created little branded boxes and encouraged guests to take sweets home, so they could enjoy them in the days after the wedding.
