The surrounding gardens at the historic Lairmont Manor in Bellingham, Washington, set the perfect tone for this elegant outdoor wedding—decked out in a romantic palette of pink, mint, white and gray that added pops of color to the landscaping. Denise Tran (23 and a retail manager) and James Prater (24 and a combat medic in the US Army) wanted to fill their nuptials with vintage decor that suited the venue, and did so through touches of burlap, mason jars and signage. The ceremony took place right in front of a romantic fountain, where Denise stood wearing an elegant white strapless dress while James sported a light gray suit—both in keeping with the wedding day colors. At the tented reception, guests sat at dining tables marked with small chalkboards and decorated with centerpieces of baby's breath and pink roses. Instead of a traditional wedding cake, Denise and James served fresh fruit, a variety of candy, red velvet cupcakes and three types of cheesecake made by the Cheesecake Factory. Our favorite detail? The DIY lavender candles placed inside mini mason jars, wrapped with lace and topped with paper flowers that guests took home. Check out more elegant wedding details with a vintage twist, below.

Denise's long hair tied into a side ponytail fell to her right side, right next to the elegant silver necklace that dangled right above her strapless wedding dress.
Wedding signs made of wood panels decorated the day, giving the elegant occasion a bit of a rustic edge. This sign had white writing that read "In all things give thanks," perched up by a mint green stand.
The bridal bouquet embodied some of the beautiful pastels, made up of blooms that ranged from various lilies to hydrangeas and Queen Anne's lace.
Denise walked up behind James so they could see each other for the first time in their wedding day attire. As she did so, the long train of her white wedding dress trailed elegantly behind.
James turned around to see Denise for the first time in her wedding dress, and he looked quite charming himself. He sported a mint green tie with a pocket square to match, tucked into his light gray suit jacket.
Denise rested her hand on James's gray vest, with beautifully manicured nails done for the wedding day. She wore a beautiful silver bracelet that complemented the collection of her elegant wedding rings.
James walked back up the aisle with Denise after the ceremony, wearing his light gray suit jacket-and-pants combination with mint green accents from his tie and pocket square.

A colorful lantern hung from the ceiling of the white tented reception, reflecting Denise's family background among many other wedding day details.
The bridesmaids chose their own dress in a shade of mint, which resulted in a range of styles and hues that went together nicely. The dresses matched the groomsmen's mint green bow ties and pocket squares.
As a way to say thank-you to guests, Denise and James handed out lavender candles placed inside mini mason jars and wrapped with lace and tulle. Paper flowers topped the candle favors, all of which were created by James's mother.
In addition to the delicious-looking red velvet cupcakes displayed on a tiered stand, guests got to choose from fresh fruit, an array of candy and three types of cheesecakes for dessert. What a treat, indeed!
