Dared at a bar on St. Patrick's Day, Liza Goldstein (24 and an event sales manager) went up to Luke McCullough (27 and a sales manager) and said, "You're hot!" on her way to the bathroom. As luck would have it, Luke was jokingly on a mission to find himself a southern belle after just having moved to Atlanta and the pair hit it off on their first date a few weeks later. Luke proposed a year and a half later with a unique pave diamond David Yurman ring during a trip to Callaway Gardens. "I always talked about this 'secret garde'" by the lake that I loved to relax at and was so surprised because I had planned our visit and was showing him around when he proposed!" says Liza. Knowing they wanted to get married in the North Georgia Mountains, Liza and Luke invited guests to an elegant-yet-rustic celebration at Frogtown Cellars in Dahlonega, Georgia. "My theme of 'Rustic Glam' grew once we found our vineyard venue because I'm a girly girl with an outdoorsy side," says Liza. "I wanted to blend the two aspects—I think it's beautiful to have a clash of rustic with glamorous and it makes for a very unique event!" The subtle pink, gray and metallic color palette was inspired by Liza's love for the amnesia rose. DIY elements—including the escort cards and table numbers—enhanced the reception's rustic feel while the fall mountain backdrop made for memorable photo ops.

"Luke had always said that I look good in halter dresses so I was on a mission to find one that was simple, lace and elegant," Liza says.
"I knew that I wanted to have my wedding in the North Georgia mountains and I've always loved the charming town of Dahlonega," says Liza. "We wanted something more natural and than your typical ballroom setting!"
