An Elegant Vineyard Wedding at CapRock Winery in Lubbock, Texas

A wedding at CapRock Winery brings wine country to Lubbock, Texas, with its seriously gorgeous natural spaces and elegant architecture, not to mention its award-winning Texas wines. It’s no wonder Kayla Roberson (24 and a student) and Tate Gass (26 and a production foreman at an oil company) wanted to get married there. Plus, with all the pretty green spaces around, their 350 guests could mingle with ease. Kaitlin Horrell helped coordinate all the details, along with the support of the photographer, Kayla Barker, who went above and beyond to make sure Kayla and Tate had the best day of their lives. Gorgeous flowers, branches and pinecones channeled the fall colors and accented the vineyard setting, from a whimsical round wedding arch to overflowing arrangements on rustic wine barrels. But it wouldn’t be a Texas wedding without some country music: Kayla and Tate shared their first dance to “Give It All We Got Tonight” by George Strait, followed by local country band the Hogg Maulies, who got everyone onto the dance floor to dance the night away.
