An Elegant Tented Wedding at Pebble Hill Plantation in Thomasville, Georgia
Page Parker (23) got butterflies when she first met Blake Harper (25) an audition for their high school musical. After Blake asked Page to their Homecoming dance, they dated for six years before he proposed back in their high school theatre. "Blake took me back as a surprise and when I walked in, he was standing at the bottom of rose petal-lined steps," says Page. " The stage was decorated with pictures from our time together and I felt so special seeing all the thought, time and love he put into making his proposal so memorable!" After celebrating with family, the pair excitedly began planning their spring nuptials at Pebble Hill Plantation in Thomasville, Georgia. "We exchanged vows under an oak tree and the ceremony site fit what I'd envisioned for our wedding perfectly," says Page. "The Spanish moss, all the greenery and the beautiful home on the property—it all felt so romantic!" The newlyweds opted for a Sperry tent for the reception, steps away from the ceremony site, to keep everyone cool during the warm evening. Soft linen and peony floral details warmed the timeless white color palette. Atop the crisp reception tables were silver lanterns, mercury glass candles and mercury glass jars filled with white roses and astilbe. "I want to be able to look back at all my wedding photos years from now and still love the look I was going for," says Page.
