An Elegant Spring Wedding at Madren Center Owen Pavilion in Clemson, South Carolina

Ashley Hilton(29 and a pharmacist) and Weston Houck (34 and a fisheries biologist) exchanged vows at First Baptist of Pendleton followed by an elegant spring wedding at Madren Center Owen Pavilion. "One of the few requests that we had during the wedding planning process was this location for our reception," says Ashley. "It's a beautiful open air pavilion that overlooks the lake!" The couple decided on a peach, dusty shale, gold and ivory color palette. "I didn't want to over-do the reception area because of all its natural beauty," says Ashley. "The scenery combined with the perfect weather in March was breathtaking." Alternating small and tall arrangements of roses and succulents with long branches decorated guest tables while string lights hanging from the pavilion added a romantic glow. Clemson University's tiger mascot made a special surprise appearance for the groom during the reception. "It was so special to us to get married and celebrate our wedding in the town of our alma mater, Clemson, South Carolina!" says Ashley.
