An Elegant, Rustic Wedding with Floridian Flair at the International Polo Club in Palm Beach, Florida

Alexis Rodriguez (24 and works in guest services and hospitality for Ole Miss Athletics) and Ben Fleming (30 and a strength and conditioning coach for Ole Miss) met and started dating while they both attended the University of Central Florida. After two years of dating, Ben popped the question on the beach the day before Thanksgiving, hiring a photographer (who was hiding in the bushes) to capture the every moment.Instead of the expected beach wedding, Alexis and Ben opted for a rustic affair at the International Polo Club in Palm Beach. The couple exchanged vows at sunset in an outdoor ceremony on the Polo Club’s expansive lawn before heading indoors to the Field Side Pavilion for the reception. For the ceremony, the couple kept the décor simple, allowing the beauty of the setting to take center stage. Bunches of fresh white hydrangeas surrounding silver lanterns lined the aisle, leading to a handcrafted wooden cross that was draped in lush greenery and white blooms. For the reception, the couple fused classic elegance with Floridian flair, dressing up traditional arrangements of ivory hydrangeas and curly willow with palm leaves. Gold, glittery accents added a hint of glam to the tablescapes, while burlap table runners and antique gold frames brought Alexis’s rustic vision to life.
