An Elegant, Rustic Wedding at Normandy Farm Hotel in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania
Sue Cheung (29 and a pharmacist) and Ralph Cameron (30 and a pharmacist) met one cold night during college, when Sue offered Ralph a ride home. For their first Christmas as a couple, Ralph bought Sue a digital camera. Sue was overwhelmed by such a large gift and said she'd be happy even if he just gave her a message in a bottle. Four years later, Sue came home to a message in a bottle reading, "Will you marry me?" This doting couple was married in St. Patrick Church in Malvern, Pennsylvania, and the following reception was held in the ballroom at Normandy Farm Hotel in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. The ballroom, which is a renovated dairy farm, was perfect for their elegant, rustic wedding. "Everything was exceptional at Normandy Farm!" says Sue. The classy color palette consisted of peach, pink, ivory and white with gray accents. Decor was simple with flower arrangements of roses, viburnum and greens in mason jars on every table. Sue says she couldn't have done any of the wedding planning without her now husband. "Ralph was the one taking the initiative to set up our theknot.com website, making appointments with the florist, and making any challenging ideas for our wedding a reality. I am such a lucky girl to have married such an amazing and thoughtful person."
