An Elegant Rustic Wedding at Kurtz Orchards in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario

Lia Preyde (30 and a lawyer) and Adam Moody (33 and a personal trainer) held their wedding at the beautiful Kurtz Orchards in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. "Their elegantly rustic property is painstakingly set out and set up to maximize the feel of an al fresco dinner party in the European countryside," Lia says. Since the venue was the first decision the couple made for the wedding, they let the vibe of Kurtz Orchards guide their look, from fashion to decor: classic, rustic and elegant. A palette of muted neutrals, with blush and gold accents and flower arrangements of hydrangeas, roses and sage leaf brought out their theme perfectly. The couple's favorite part of the night was after 11 p.m., well after the reception, when they shipped their guests to a nearby pub that they had rented out for the after-party.
