An Elegant, Romantic Wedding with a Bohemian Twist at Rock Island Lake Club in Sparta, New Jersey

Amanda Allessio (29 and a medical outreach coordinator) and Michael McClelland (30 and a financial advisor) decorated their bohemian lakeside wedding with soft blush, cream and champagne tones, organic brown and plenty of summer foliage.

For their late summer wedding, Amanda wanted a rustic location that reminded her of her hometown, while Michael wanted to be close to the water since he grew up near the beach. That made Rock Island Lake Club the perfect locale. A massive ceremony arch displaying tea roses, mixed dahlias and delicate blooms with wispy foliage coordinated with Amanda’s seasonal bouquet.

The couple’s delicate four-tier confection featured rich buttercream frosting, white and chocolate cake, and cannoli filling. Pearl beading and fresh blooms completed its homespun look.
