An Elegant, Romantic Wedding at Pinecroft at Crosley Estate in Cincinnati, Ohio
With their guests top of mind, an elegant estate that allowed for a seamless flow of events was a must-have for Kristel Rubio (28 and a talent acquisition manager) and Ryan Grote (28 and a financial advisor). The couple exchanged vows amid the property’s flourishing orchard, where subtle décor highlighted the setting’s natural beauty. Guests then walked to the tented reception, which was styled with white linens, overflowing florals and an abundance of candlelight. “My florist had the brilliant idea of lightly spray painting some of the greenery gold, which elevated the entire look,” Kristel says.
A close friend officiated the ceremony, and the pair penned their own vows. “We wanted it to be meaningful and personal,” Kristel says. Inspired by their shared love of electronic music, the couple worked with a friend to create a first dance song that started slow and transitioned to upbeat. “We had everyone rush to join us when the beat dropped,” Kristel says. After all the excitement, guests cooled down with an ice cream sundae bar. “We love to entertain in our own home, so I saw our wedding as an extension of that,” Kristel says of choosing the inviting Tudor-style manor.
