An Elegant, Romantic Wedding at Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Coast, California

A palette of ivory and blush suited the luxurious Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Coast, California, to create a romantic ambience for this elegant wedding. "All I can say about the environment is that it was magical—every bride's dream,” Gabriela Coldea (34 and in business) says of her marriage to David Miszti (42 and in business). “We had the ceremony on the lawn, around the Italian rotunda, which is perched 300 feet above the ocean, followed by a lavish reception with panoramic Pacific views.” Bella Bloom Floral Designs created arrangements of roses, hydrangeas, chrysanthemums and orchids that were positioned on top of white pillars, leading to the dome-style stone gazebo where the couple had their ceremony, captured by Coldea Productions. Guests were brought inside the resort for an elegant evening and were treated to a meal of portobello stuffed mushrooms, strawberry walnut salad and filet mignon, which ended with a slice of delicious limoncello-and-fruit cake. There was no shortage of sweets at this elegant occasion, with an entire dessert table of fruit tarts, iced cupcakes and eclairs. But our favorite were the individual macarons packaged inside pink and gold boxes and wrapped with ribbon, which were given to guests to take home.
