An Elegant Purple and Green Wedding at Half Moon Bay Golf Links in Half Moon Bay, California

This elegant country club venue may have had minimal, simple decor in order to emphasize the surrounding scenic landscape, but thanks to bright purple and green hues that decorated the wedding day, there was never a lack in color. From the bride’s rose, viburnum and stock bouquet to the plum-colored bridesmaid dresses and the purple orchid centerpieces on dining tables, it seemed as though no corner was untouched by the color palette, which was beautifully captured by Mad and Moonly Photography. Jenise Wong (39 and a pediatric endocrinologist) and Scott Carey (36 and a software architect) had their wedding ceremony outside at Half Moon Bay Golf Links that provided a gorgeous backdrop of the ocean in Half Moon Bay, California, with the reception venue being only steps away at the onsite club. Dining tables were covered in plum tablecloths and decorated with white and purple orchids as centerpieces, beautifully arranged by Repetto’s Greenhouse Florist. Jenise and Scott both enjoy the outdoors, providing them with both energy and relaxation, and wanted to incorporate that love into their wedding day. “The table names were all places where we had hiked during our time together, all of which had amazing scenery and views,” the couple says.
