Even though Christine Tate (31 and a medical device engineer) and Jason Marr (32 and a software developer) live in California, they held their wedding in Delaware, close to their families and childhood friends (Christine is from Delaware and Jason is from Pennsylvania). On Christine's sister's suggestion, the couple held their wedding at the Rockwood Park Carriage House in Wilmington, Delaware, with its gorgeous stonework style. A palette of royal blue, sage green and silver gave the wedding an elegant look without being too formal. A standout detail? The cake pinata! "Neither of us are big fans of cake, but we're big fans of fun. So instead of a traditional wedding cake, we had a cake-shaped pinata. Leslie Barbaro Photography was incredibly excited when we told her about her about the idea and we got some fantastic shots of us taking swings," Christine says. Check out more photos, below.

Purple Flowers in Cylinder Vase Centerpieces
In lieu of a traditional wedding cake, the couple had a pinata-shaped cake that Jessica and Jason smashed to bits to get the candy inside.
The flower girl and ring bearer walked down the aisle together during the ceremony.
Christine wore a strapless Allure gown with a ruffled skirt. A silver sash with an ornate pin and bright blue satin heels completed the look.

Green orchids were placed in cylinder vases for the modern centerpiece decor.
"Groom" and "Bride" signs hung on the back of Jessica's and Jason's chiavari chairs at the reception.
The flowers in the cylinder vases varied, giving each table its own look.
White hydrangeas were tucked into a tall cylinder vase for the modern-looking centerpieces.
