An Elegant Old Florida Garden Wedding at The Ribault Club in Jacksonville, FL
Stormy Goodman (24 and a graphic designer) and Nicholas (Nick) Kimman’s (25 and a financial representative and nursing student) vintage theme let guests know the day was also Stormy’s parents’ and grandparents’ anniversaries. “It also allowed us to find a killer venue and a fun getaway car,” she says.
The historic Ribault Club, which was built around 1930, was the ideal vintage spot. “It had everything we were looking for—the huge oak tree with Spanish moss was the perfect altar,” Stormy says.
The bridesmaids wore pale pink gowns and groomsmen donned suspenders for a vintage look.
The couple relied on the beauty of the space for their reception. “We had a gorgeous fireplace, where there were tons of candles and greenery, both inside and on the mantel,” Stormy says. The pair made their exit in a vintage Rolls-Royce. “It felt like a fairy tale, and Nick and I couldn’t stop smiling,” she says.
Cocktail treats included ice pops from the couple’s favorite gourmet shop.
