An Elegant Natural Wedding at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma

Adam and Abby met through work, shortly after they graduated from college and Abby moved to Dallas. While the location of their first official date remains a topic of friendly debate (he says it was Cafe Express, while she swears it was Kona Grill), both agree that there was an instant connection. After three years of dating, Adam surprised Abby with a sweet and thoughtful proposal and his late grandmother's stunning marquise diamond. Abby and Adam's wedding was in Adam's hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma, a central location for the couple's friends and family members. The ceremony was held at Southminster Presbyterian Church, with a reception following at Southern Hills Country Club. The most important factor of the wedding for the couple was getting all their friends and family in one place that provided a comfortable yet elegant atmosphere for the celebration. Abby describes the wedding as classic and earthy-chic, elegant with touches of natural beauty. The wedding colors were natural—grays, ivories and pops of greenery. The couple chose to incorporate rosemary, a symbol of love and remembrance, wherever they could—in the centerpieces, bouquets, and the couple's favorite touch, individual rosemary wreaths that contained name cards at each place setting. For the ceremony, Abby wore a tiered lace and organza gown by Essence of Australia with her every day signature pearls. Her dress was complete with a custom handmade sash adorned with gentle, feminine flowers that tied into a bow in the back. The groom wore a classic Hugo Boss tuxedo with a black bow tie. Both Abby and Adam agree that the day went off without a hitch, from the gorgeous weather to the intimate ceremony, and the personal yet celebratory time spent with family and friends.
