An Elegant, Modern Wedding at The Machine Shop in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Gold, white and blush softened Charlotte Paguyo (23 and a sales representative) and Cedric Thomspon (23 and an NFL player for the Minnesota Vikings) industrial venue and created a romantic atmosphere for their nuptials.

At the reception, Cedric and the groomsmen surprised Charlotte with a choreographed production of Beyoncé’s “Love on Top.” (Cedric was making good on a bet he lost when the couple first started dating.) Gold balloons spelled out the couple’s hashtag, #chachicedido, and guests could walk a red carpet and pose in front of a step-and-repeat customized with the couple’s crest, hashtag and wedding date. 

The pair walked back up the aisle to John Mayer’s “Love is a Verb”—the same song title that’s engraved inside the bride’s engagement ring and the groom’s wedding band.

“Our flower girl got so caught up in the moment she forgot to throw her rose petals,” the bride says.
