An Elegant, Modern Wedding at Legg Mason Tower in Baltimore, Maryland

It was only fitting that Katy Butler (28 and a post-settlement processor) and Brian Butler (32 and in orthopedic sales) sealed the deal in the city where they fell in love. After searching high and low for a venue in Baltimore, Maryland, they found Legg Mason Tower. The modern space features floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Baltimore Harbor. "Our first impression was, 'Wow!' " Katy says. Because the view created such a stunning backdrop on its own, Katy and Brian kept the ceremony decor to a minimum. The chiavari chairs on the aisle were decorated with baby's breath and ivory ribbon, and the altar area was flanked by arrangements of hydrangeas, roses and ivy in urns. The following reception took place in an adjacent room where the walls were draped in sheer white linens. Round dining tables were set up with silver chiavari chairs and topped by low, garden-inspired arrangements of pink flowers and greenery. The wedding party matched the modern, spring decor. Katy's bridesmaids wore knee-length, one-shoulder dresses in kelly green and carried bright pink bouquets. Brian wore a three-piece custom suit in navy blue.
