An Elegant, Luxury Wedding at Ballroom at the Ben in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Sarah Bily and Jonathan Raizon's wedding could best be described as sophisticated and glamorous. Though they were married in a ballroom, their vendor teams created an atmosphere that felt incredibly unique. For example, consider the indoor ceremony space, which stunned with white draping, tall flower arrangements lining the aisle, a show-stopping wedding arch of neutral-colored flowers and gold chiavari chairs. "We wanted our wedding to authentically reflect who we are as a couple, so we had a custom nondenominational ceremony that incorporated interfaith elements from both the Catholic and Jewish traditions," Sarah says. "For the processional, we had Jonathan escorted by his parents per the Jewish tradition, and I walked in with my dad per the Catholic tradition. I wanted my mom to also have a special moment given that Jonathan's parents did, so I had her enter right before me escorted by my brother. Then, we started the ceremony with a sign of peace (Catholic) and ended with the breaking of the glass (Jewish)." Sarah donned a fit-and-flare strapless gown made of duchess satin, a cathedral veil, white heeled shoes and a bespoke piece in her wavy hair. She carried a soft, romantic, neutral-colored bouquet of orchids, dahlias, roses and ranunculus. Jonathan went with a custom midnight-blue tuxedo. The reception continued the luxurious, glamorous theme of the wedding.  Guests consulted a scroll seating chart with greenery garland. The wedding arch stood behind a head table decorated with candles, soft flower arrangements and chairs decorated with neutral linens. Sarah and Jonathan served a tiered fondant wedding cake with intricate detailing, and they shared a first dance in front of their 180 guests. "We also did the Hora during the reception and had both sets of parents participate," Sarah adds.
