An Elegant, Lush Wedding at Holly Farm in Carmel, California
The lush landscaping at Holly Farm in Carmel, California, created a tropical outdoor vibe that won over Crystal Lee (30 and in real estate at Ernst & Young) and Gavin Delany (35 and CEO of Stride Travel) for their elegant wedding. "We chose this location because it made us feel like we were in the tropics," Crystal says. "The estate had beautiful, lush gardens, and every inch of the place was designed with a purpose." Crystal's ruby engagement ring set in a white gold band inspired the silver and red palette that decorated the day's details—from the red gerbera daisy and rose bouquets that the bridesmaids held to the table settings with red chopstick favors and silver napkins. Crystal and Gavin got married under a branch archway draped with ivory and red blooms mixed into a lush garland. White escort cards decorated with gray tree designs guided guests to their tables draped in burlap and lace runners. At the end of the meal, everyone indulged in a three-tier white wedding cake layered with red roses and berries that embodied the romance of the occasion. Crystal's dress ended up being our favorite detail—a mermaid-style ivory dress accented in lace from top to bottom. Check out more of the elegant touches we loved, below.
