An Elegant Ivory and Gold Wedding at the Columbia Country Club in Columbia, Missouri

Mallory Parsons (27 and a graphic designer) and Eric Sims’s (34 and an accountant) classic country club wedding echoed the autumn season with gold and white details like a spray-painted bouquet and gilded fondant cake.

“Gold is my go-to color, but I knew it should be used sparingly,” Mallory says of adding metallic touches with chiavari chairs, throw pillows and gold-flecked vases. Her gilded shoes were even visible during a ritual the couple added to their outdoor ceremony: Eric met Mallory halfway down the aisle, so the pair could walk together toward the draped wedding arch.
