An Elegant, Intimate Wedding at Jepson Alumni Executive Center in Fredericksburg, Virginia
Rebecca Srygley (27, auditor) had a crush on Christopher Knutti (28, defense contractor) in middle school but he teased her back then. Twelve years later, they reconnected in Fredericksburg. Chris helped Rebecca move into her new apartment in Washington, D.C. and they shared their first kiss on her building's stoop. Chris surprised Rebecca with a proposal and her favorite Chinese food one day after work. The couple decided to get married at the Jepson Alumni Executive Center on University of Mary Washington campus in Fredericksburg, Virginia. They chose a soft palette of pink and ivory for their classic wedding. At the tented outdoor reception, ivory rose petals and candles in glass vases lined the aisles. Centerpieces at the ballroom reception included tall, dome shaped flower arrangements of white hydrangeas and roses in glass vases. Rebecca carried a bouquet of ivory, pink and blush roses, and her bridesmaids carried smaller bouquets of pink roses and white hydrangeas. For this classic wedding, the groomsmen and Chris wore traditional black tuxedos with black ties and white rose boutonnieres. The bridesmaids wore strapless, floor length blush dresses by Bill Levkoff and the flower girl wore a pink dress with a full tulle skirt. The bride herself wore a drop waist ball gown with a lace bodice, a full tulle skirt and a strapless, sweetheart neckline by LaSposa. She also wore a cathedral veil with lace trim and embellished, silver peep toe heels. The reception ended with dancing and an ivory wedding cake made by the mother of the groom. Rebecca and Chris' wedding at the Jepson Alumni Executive Center was a lovely and elegant affair.
