An Elegant, Historic Wedding at Athletic Club of Columbus in Columbus, Ohio

After searching far and wide for a historic venue filled with elegance, Brynn Baldetti (25 and a marketing manager) and Michael Burke (24 and in the US Army) found the one when they came across the Athletic Club of Columbus in Columbus, Ohio. "There are so many ornate touches throughout the venue that makes it truly a special place," Brynn says. "Everything about this venue exuded classical elegance, and we felt like we had stumbled upon a gem from the past." Not only did the architectural design with wood and granite detail create the elegant vibe, but so did the decorations selected by Brynn and Michael—from the glass candelabra centerpieces filled with colorful blooms to the gold plates with macaron favors at each setting. The gold, ivory, lilac and green palette stemmed from Brynn being inspired by a romantic garden feel, which the white cake reflected perfectly with fresh vibrant flowers decorating the tiers.
