Jessica Gregoli (25 and a seventh grade math teacher) and William “Billy” Boska (25 and a civil engineer) decided to get married at Crystal Plaza in Livingston, New Jersey, because of its historic mansion feel from the outside and regal feel in the ballroom. Jessica's mother, Joann Gregoli from Elegant Occasions, helped her daughter bring her vision to life with a gold, pink and ivory color palette that perfectly complemented the gold molding and crystal chandeliers of the ornate ballroom. The day started with a traditional, religious ceremony at Holy Family Parish that was very personal and intimate—exactly what they wanted. Although their officiant, Deacon Kamil Stachowiak, had never performed a wedding before, and did a phenomenal job making the nuptials special. “During the Deacon’s reading of Jesus turning water into wine, he ended up surprising Billy and I with a bottle of wine,” Jessica says. “He wants us to open the bottle on our 50th wedding anniversary, saying our marriage, like the wine, will improve with time. It was so sweet and unexpected!” Tall, stunning centerpieces including ivory hydrangeas and orchids adorned the reception tables in the elegant room adding an ethereal aura we absolutely love. Wanting to toss some tradition, Jessica and Billy added a little personalized detail in their four-tier buttercream wedding cake decorated with the Boston Red Sox letter B. “Billy’s family is originally from New England, and they are huge Red Sox fans,” Jessica says. “We thought it was befitting for his side of the family, and because our last name is Boska! I am not sure the New Jersey crowd were too thrilled about seeing that B though.”

Wedding Paper Divas created the invitations with ivory stationery and gold thermography printed letters and filigree.
Billy proposed with a princess-cut diamond engagement ring with a halo. “My ring has an old-world antique feel, which I love,” Jessica says.

The flower girls wore lace dresses with a floral pattern in gold thread that added a little glamour to their attire. They completed their look with ivory rose pomanders.
Jessica carried ivory roses and white hydrangeas in her bouquet and tucked in ornament pendants from her grandmother and great grandmother.
The bridesmaids wore Dessy blush long twist wrap dresses. “Not only was a happy because of the color and length, but my girls were also happy because they could style the dress to match their personalities and fashion,” Jessica says.

Jessica and Billy at Crystal Plaza in New Jersey
Jessica and Billy enjoyed a four-tier round buttercream wedding cake decorated with an ornate floral lace pattern on every other tier. “On the middle tier, we had the Boston Red Sox B,” Jessica says. “Billy’s family is originally from New England, and they are huge Red Sox fans. We thought it was befitting for his side of the family, and because our last name is Boska! I am not sure the New Jersey crowd were too thrilled about seeing that B though.”
“The Crystal Plaza has the look and feel of a historic mansion with a regal and elegant feel indoors,” Jessica says. “The ballroom is large with gold molding and large chandeliers. Because our theme colors were gold, pink and ivory, the ballroom was perfect!”
The groom’s cake was the sorting hat from Harry Potter since Billy is a huge fan. It was displayed on a table with cake pops and cookies that had the same magical inspiration.
Guests went home with little bags filled with Mr. Right and Mrs. Always Right sugar cookies. They were adorned with little tags that said, “How sweet it is—thank you for sharing our special day.”
