An Elegant, Glam Spring Wedding at the Charlotte Country Club in Charlotte, North Carolina
Caroline McGuire (30 and a senior wealth strategy associate) and Henry Edward (Trey) Winslett III (31 and a director in fixed income strategy) brought their black-tie wedding to life with classic touches and a white, silver and pink palette.
Caroline and Trey were married at Caroline’s family church. Floral wreaths of hydrangeas, roses, peonies and fresh greenery greeted the guests as they arrived at the church, and two large arrangements framed the altar. For a whimsical touch, the flower girls wore floral wreath headpieces and off-white dresses with blush sashes that matched the color of the bridesmaid dresses.
Pink, white and green blooms popped against the silver reception décor.
To complete Trey’s dapper look, Caroline gifted her soon-to-be husband with a set of onyx and pearl cuff links and studs, custom made and engraved with his initials and their wedding date. “The night goes by so quickly, you want to absorb it all,” Caroline says. “Be in the moment.”
