An Elegant French Country–Style Wedding at Baltimore Country Club in Maryland
Molly Coplan (29 and works in philanthropy) and Gabriel Doran’s (34 and works in advertising technology sales) garden party was embellished with lush, organic flower arrangements, gold décor and subtle dusty blue. The day kicked off an outdoor ceremony, where the couple tied the knot under a eucalyptus and vine chuppah and the bride’s late grandfather’s tallit. They combined traditional Jewish rituals, like the seven blessings, with their personal vows for a heartfelt and sentimental ceremony. After the “I dos,” guests sipped cocktails on the lawn, chatting around cocktail tables draped with pale blue printed cloths. An airy sailcloth tent played host to the reception, where woven natural runners, white blooms and blue-gray menus with matching escort cards (one of Molly’s favorite details) topped the long farm tables that dotted the space. “We wanted the reception to feel comfortable and casual, but also beautiful,” Molly says. The couple also incorporated their pup, Elly, in a sweet way: on the cookie favors. “She’s the love of our lives,” Molly adds. Opting for casual bites, Molly and Gabriel had a taco bar, slider options, a carving station and a mac and cheese bar.
