An Elegant Fall Wedding at Rutgers Garden in New Brunswick , New Jersey

Cristina Santiago (29 and in customer service) and Steven Bolcar (36 and a video engineer) met at The Famished Frog in Morristown, New Jersey where they had a great dinner laughing, drinking sangria and getting to know each other. "It was very obvious from the first date that we had something special," says Cristina. Two years later, the couple were taking their annual vacation with Steven's family to Lake George in New York when he asked Cristina to marry him. "I had a feeling Steve was goign to pop the question, but by the second-to-last night of the trip, nothing had happened!" says Cristina. "I tried to put the thought out of my head and enjoy myself, but then while we were standing on the dock at the campsite watching the moon set behind the mountain scenery of the area, Steven turned to me and said, 'I have something for you.' It was the happiest moment of my life -- so far!" The pair was inspired by fall for their wedding decor. Since they were getting married at Rutgers Garden in New Brunswick, they used the natural scenery as a large part of the design, adding little touches of wine colors, like burgundy and deep purple, with subtle hints of brighter orange, red and fuchsia hues in the flowers and bridesmaid dresses.
