An Elegant Country Wedding at Heritage Haus in Dripping Springs, Texas
Looking to create a soft, elegant and comfortable feel for themselves and their guests, Brianna Dowling (22 and a worship leader) and Jonny Reeves (22 and a worship leader) settled on a color scheme of timeless neutrals—gray, soft pink and ivory with gold accents—for their Texas Hill Country wedding. "All the details—from my dress and the bridesmaid dresses to the loose, leafy flowers—were a reflection of my personality," Brianna says. "It all felt like the perfect balance of comfort and grace." The day began with a touching ceremony in front of Dove Chapel on the grounds of Heritage Haus in Dripping Springs, Texas. "I loved this chapel because it incorporated elements of a traditional church wedding on an expansive Hill Country ranch—the best of both worlds," Brianna says. "We both grew up and work in churches, so I loved that we could have that element present in our wedding." From there, the festivities moved inside the nearby barn for a twist on dinner. "We decided on the breakfast-for-dinner option because it is our favorite meal," Brianna says. "We love breakfast in all its forms anytime, so we decided we might as well have our favorite food at our wedding!" More personal details, like the guitar-shaped groom's cake (a replica of his dad's cherished Jumbo Taylor guitar) and sentimental song choices (he used to burn her CDs) made their romantic wedding day feel like a representation of them. —Meghan Overdeep
