An Elegant Country Club Wedding at Indian Summer Golf and Country Club in Olympia, Washington
Sunny Kim (30, a dental hygienist) and Bill yun (32, an accountant) met at a huge house party Sunny threw while her parents were out of town. They both discovered the chemistry between them, and started dating for what would be the next ten years. They both had graduated college and decided to celebrate with summer travel plans to Maui, Hawaii. The couple hiked Mount Haleakala at the crack of dawn to catch the sunrise at the top, and once they reached it, Bill got down on one knee and proposed. The couple decided to have their wedding at Indian Summer Golf and Country Club in Olympia, Washington with the perfect scenic backdrop for an outdoor wedding that also had a glass wall reception room, where guests could still enjoy the view. The color palette was plum and gray, accenting wedding decor from the hanging paper lanterns in the reception space to the iced cupcakes and dining table settings. Not only did the color palette show up in wedding decor, but also the bride, groom and wedding party at large sported the two hues in their wedding attire. The bride wore a traditional white wedding dress while the groom wore a black tuxedo with a purple tie, and the bridesmaids wore purple strapless dresses while the groomsmen wore gray vests and pants. It was the perfect color combination for the romantic country club celebration!
