An Elegant Cobalt Blue Wedding at Lomas Santa Fe Country Club in Solana Beach, California

As Jessica Wilson (29 and a physician's assistant) and Jesse Wilson (32 and a real estate investor) were planning their wedding, the color blue stood out to them. The pair loves to swim; in fact, swimming was one of their first dates! The couple chose a rich, cobalt blue as the primary color in their palette, and it informed all aspects of their wedding, to the blue bridesmaid dresses down to the mini blue paintings used as place cards on the reception tables. The bouquets and boutonnieres were filled with white roses and spider mums, in simple, elegant arrangements that complemented the pops of blue used throughout the decor. The couple kicked off their reception with a choreographed dance to Ray LaMontage's "You Are The Best Thing." "So many guests told me later that they had no idea we could dance like that!" Jessica says.
