An Elegant, Coastal-Chic Wedding at The Corinthian Yacht Club of Cape May in New Jersey

With a strict “no seashells, anchors or navy and white policy,” Rachel Catalana (31 and an operations and quality assurance manager) and Robert Bur (31 and a sales manager) instead focused on the feel of their day. “My family and I pride ourselves on being great hosts. So, being sure that our guests had a great experience and were comfortable and relaxed was important to us,” Rachel says. A classic monochromatic look was the final result, with white blooms, gold detailing and marble escort cards emphasizing the clean, romantic style. The pair followed in Rachel’s family’s footsteps and was the fourth generation to wed at the local church. Rachel and her father drove there in his 1950 red Cadillac convertible. A long mirrored runner, white hydrangeas and plenty of candles created an airy, inviting space for the reception. The couple chose to serve an Italian menu to honor their heritage, starting with a three-cheese ravioli in a pesto sauce and finishing with traditional after-dinner drinks, Sambuca and limoncello. In addition to cake, guests enjoyed an ice cream bar for dessert as a nod to the bride's family's dairy business.
