An Elegant, Classic Wedding at the John Wright Restaurant in Wrightsville, Pennsylvania
Catie Eckman (23 and a human resources associate) and Jordan Wingenroth (25 and a project manager) wanted a timeless and understated affair. “We relied on earthy florals, swags of leafy garlands and soft candlelight as the main décor,” Catie says of decking out the industrial-chic space.
With the reception venue overlooking the Susquehanna River, the couple chose a mostly earthy, muted color scheme to highlight the surrounding landscape. Pops of color came from the ice-blue bridesmaid gowns and the lavender throughout, which was a tribute to Catie’s late grandmother’s favorite color.
A bountiful bunch of white peonies, cream spray roses, lavender, eucalyptus, olive branches and dusty miller made up Catie’s leafy bouquet.
“I’ve always been obsessed with doughnuts,” says Catie, who championed a doughnut station. Theirs featured eight flavors of the pasty, including peanut butter and Boston cream.
