An Elegant Classic Wedding at Indian Hills Country Club in Kansas City, Kansas

Ashley Seago (31 and a kindergarten teacher) and Eric Seifert (32 and an investment officer) were neighbors by chance in an apartment complex—twice. Upon running into Eric out to dinner, they exchanged numbers, and Eric began to text Ashley from across the bar. Eventually they went out for a date and have been inseparable ever since. Eric proposed in five degree weather in front of Harry’s in Westport, a special place for the couple. When looking for Kansas City wedding venues, the couple fell for the Indian Hills Country Club, which provided the classic atmosphere they envisioned for their wedding day. Ashley wore a champagne lace dress with a sweetheart neckline and a pearl belt, and Eric wore a black tuxedo. Gold and silver composed the color palette with candles and white flowers everywhere to amp up the romance. Transitioning from the ceremony, the cocktail hour took place in the lounge with a piano player and open bar. The reception turned party as the KC All Stars Band had guests rocking all night as they snacked on mini sliders, french fries and chili cheese fries.
