An Elegant Bohemian Wedding at Daniel's Vineyard in Indianapolis, Indiana
Brianna Wood and Jason Springs pulled off a glam bohemian bash for their mid-summer wedding at an Indianapolis vineyard. Wild, organic florals with lots of mixed greenery were the focal point of the fete. Suspended floral installations and hanging vines brought the natural beauty of the setting indoors and highlighted the venue’s dramatic cathedral ceilings. Vintage furnishings, flickering taper candles and a tiered crystal chandelier were other elements that added to the evening’s relaxed, sophisticated aesthetic. “I think personalizing our ceremony was one of my favorite parts about the day,” Brianna says. “The man that married us was Jason’s football chaplain at Indiana University, so he really saw our relationship grow throughout the years.” Family members did the ceremony readings, and Brianna’s cousin also sang some of the couple’s favorite Christian worship songs. With the ceremony taking place outside overlooking the grapevines, Brianna and Jason paid extra attention to ensure their guests would be comfortable in the July heat. Large white umbrellas dotted the lawn to keep everyone cool as the couple exchanged vows. “You’ll have a lot of people’s opinions and thoughts being thrown your way throughout the planning process,” Brianna says. “Make sure you stay true to yourself. Make a conscious decision to prioritize what is important to you and your partner or details will get lost along the way.”
