An Elegant Beach Wedding at The Loyalist Country Inn in Summerside, Prince Edward Island

Stephanie Hogue (29 and a medical student) and Luke MacDonald (30 and a carpenter) held their wedding on Prince Edward Island, where Luke is from. The couple loves the beach, and their photographer, One Blue Fish Photography, took many gorgeous photos of the couple on the shore. The couple held a traditional ceremony at the church Luke's grandmother attends (their priest was a close friend to Luke's family) and a reception at The Loyalist Country Inn in Summerside. The color palette was inspired by the beach setting and made up of soft grays, light blues and sandy beige colors. Their principal flower was blue hydrangeas, and Prestige Floral Studio arranged beautiful antique blue and white hydrangea bouquets for Stephanie and her bridesmaids. The decor was also beach themed, with painted recycled jars holding candles decorated with twine, starfish and seashells. Blue, teal and clear filler rocks and hearts punched out of gray, blue and beige card stock were scattered across the tables for a loose, elegant touch. A cute detail were the table numbers: Each table number had a unique quote about love, relationships and marriage displayed in white weathered frames, which were repurposed later as wedding photo gifts for their family.
