An Elegant Barn Wedding at Weston Red Barn Farm in Weston, Missouri

Kelly Bower (30 and a real estate analyst) and Michael McGrade (31 and a broker) met through mutual friends. Michael made breakfast for Kelly every Wednesday morning before she volunteered with Operation Breakthrough, and one Wednesday morning, before breakfast, he proposed. For their wedding, they chose Weston Red Barn Farm for its natural backdrop and country barn. The couple wanted to add some classic elegance to their wedding and used a black-and-white color palette, string lights and even a crystal chandelier to spice up the otherwise rustic venue. The best part, though, was the locally sourced dinner from The Local Pig. Alex Pope, the main chef served a salad of shaved fennel, oranges, lonzino ham and coriander vinaigrette and pork crusted in roasted garlic sausage with roasted tomato vinaigrette, brussel sprouts with coppa and cauliflower with capers and cherry tomatoes.
