An Elegant and Neutral Fall Wedding at Black Swan Country Club in Georgetown, Massachusetts
Sarah Rozanski (29, a registered nurse) and Kevin Maresco (28, a sales manager) met at trivia night at The Harp—a UMass Amherst bar. "I was impressed with Kevin's boyish good looks and intellectual prowess along with his ability to work under pressure," jokes Sarah. "While Kevin immediately fell victim to my charm, taste in music, and ability to drink a beer and answer a question at the same time." They dated socially into the following summer until they became official at the Blackstone Grill in Faneuil Hall. Fast forward six years, two years of long distance and an apartment together in South Boston, and Kevin popped the question in front of one of their favorite fountains on Boylston Street. He got down on one knee while playing T-Pain's "Buy you a Drank" on his iPhone, as it always reminds them of their first summer together. Afterwards, Kevin surprised Sarah with a party at Faneuil Hall with all their friends and family. The Boston-based couple headed west to Andover for a quintessentially New England ceremony at Kevin's alma mater, Phillips Academy followed by an elegant reception at Black Swan Country Club. Bucking the typical autumn colors, the couple decided on a neutral color palette with subtle hints of blush and peach for their traditional wedding day.
