An Elegant and Industrial Wedding at Dogpatch Studios in San Francisco, California

After hunting for a modern and minimal wedding venue, Christine Chyon and Randy Lee chose Dogpatch Studios in San Francisco, which serves as a working TV filming warehouse. "The color palette was a mixture of slate gray, dusty blue and a touch of blush/beige," Christine says. "We both love the ocean and beach so a lot of the colors were inspired by that." Christine and Randy dressed up the industrial space with classic flower arrangements and natural lighting. For example, Christine's bouquet boasted elegant white and blush blooms, and it matched the arrangements lining the aisle. The ceremony site also had candles and large windows above the altar.  For the reception, the couple relied on warm-toned linens, flowers and decorations in a neutral color palette, which brightened up the cool-toned concrete walls. Guests admired a tiered wedding cake with a blue hand-painted design, and they also sipped on unique cocktails. "As a couple, we're both very interested in cocktails and love making drinks at home," Christine says. "Randy infused eight bottles of gin with jasmine green tea for the wedding. We picked jasmine green tea because it's one of my favorite teas and we wanted to bring the tea element to our wedding." Christine stunned in a formfitting satin wedding dress, and she styled her short hair around her shoulders. Randy donned a classic black suit. "We both love our sneakers, so when we were walking around taking photos before the ceremony, we made sure our photographer captured some shots with our sneakers on," Christine adds. "I also changed into a white jumpsuit once the dancing started."
