Courtney White (29 and in the baking industry) and Lee Yellock (33 and in the baking industry) worked in the same company for four years but Lee thought Courtney's name was Charmaine and she thought his was Chris. After she left the company, the pair began dating and Courtney thought for sure that Lee was going to propose over Christmas. But it wasn't until mid January, after Courtney ran to the bathroom with an upset stomach, that Lee followed her and popped the question! When it came time to start wedding planning, Courtney stumbled across a few wedding photos at Gabrella Manor on Facebook and was impressed with the space. They booked the Alabama property and planned a brown, green and orange seasonal affair with moss accents. Vibrant orange gerber daisy centerpieces popped against the brown linens and added to the fall motif and the ceremony's moss backdrop enhanced the earth feel. "We just wanted a simple-yet-elegant party that fit our personalities and was laid-back," says Courtney. "Our goal was for all of our guests to feel comfortable and welcome!"
