“One of the most romantic, wonderful days we spent while dating was on a trip to New York City in Central Park,” says Erin. The Bride Erin Catt, 27 and an actress for Walt Disney World The Groom Bill Shafer, 34 and works in the entertainment business for Walt Disney World The Date October 16 That trip inspired their “Central Park in the Fall” wedding palette with warm colors like brown, red and deep purple. Trees wrapped in twinkle lights, park benches, and lampposts completed the cozy autumn scene.

Glittery-gold candles flickered around square containers packed with ivory roses. Green squares of satin gave a shimmery pop of color to the ivory linens.
The bride and groom saved money by having a friend make a five-tiered faux cake decorated with a chocolate branch motif and fresh fall flowers.
For an intimate, woodsy feel, the huppah was made of branches, autumn flowers, and leaves and draped in ivory fabric.
Chocolate-colored ink carried the fall color scheme into the elegant, double-sided letterpressed programs.
Erin’s four bridesmaids wore flowing jersey gowns with satin detailing in fern green.
One of the couple’s favorite menu options was the sweet potato sundae bar -- mashed sweet potatoes served in martini glasses with an assortment of toppings like mini-marshmallows and cinnamon.
Bill couldn’t decide on a groom’s cake, so instead the couple served his favorite dessert -- Oreo Cookies and milk.
The couple shared their first dance to a recording of “It Had to Be You,” by Harry Connick, Jr.
The groomsmen wore ivory mini calla lilies with small clusters of berries in contrast with Bill’s orange calla lily boutonniere.
For the communion, the couple used a silver goblet, plate, and prayer shawl that the bride’s parents had brought back from Israel.
The Central Perk coffee loft complemented the couple’s autumn menu of gourmet lattes with names like “Times Square Toffee” and “Manhattan Mocha.”
The bride carried a beautifully structured bouquet of calla lilies, roses, and hydrangeas in rich autumn colors.
