Elegant florals, a formal dress code and lots of gold, shimmery touches gave a formal, classic twist to the country meadow at Meghan's family home in Paola, Kansas for a wedding that exuded romance and sophistication.

For the reception, Meghan changed into a custom made ostrich feather mini skirt that she wore with her Monique Lhulilier bustier.
Ivory chargers, white china and black linens felt sophisticated and modern. Sprigs of rosemary and canvas ribbon brought a rustic touch to the place settings.
Instead of traditional floral centerpieces, the couple arranged clusters of ivory pillar candles and greenery on vintage silver trays for a chic, romantic look.
To go with the black, white and shimmery color scheme, Meghan's bridesmaids wore short champagne colored or black dresses in different styles.
The bouquet was wrapped with ivory satin ribbon and fastened with a blue crystal brooch for a hint of sparkle.
A stylish pair of silver studded heels gave Meghan's bridal look a fun, modern edge. The shoes worked perfectly with both her Monique Lhulilier gown and her reception party dress.
The programs doubled as fans and used the same romantic, Jane Austen inspired font as the couple's invitations.

Meghan's bridal bouquet was filled with ivory cabbage roses, white grape hyacinths, hyacinth and lisianthuses with plenty of lush greenery for a pop of fresh color.
Rows of gold chiavari chairs were set up in the clearing where the ceremony was held.
Stone urns were filled with lush arrangements of ivory flowers like lisianthuses, roses, delphiniums, dahlias and hydrangeas, accented with soft green moss, variegated leaves and eucalyptus for an elegant, sophisticated touch.
To juxtapose the pastoral Kansas meadow where the ceremony held, Meghan and Andrew asked their guests to dress in formal attire that fit with the black, white and shimmery color scheme.
The cocktail hour was held outdoors next to the reception tent. Bold black and white striped linens covered the cocktail tables for a modern look.
The escort cards had each guest's name hand calligraphed in white ink and was tied with white ribbon.
