Guests gathered in Josh's grandparents' backyard for this whimsical and DIY inspired wedding. From paper flower bouquets to Scrabble letters, every element of Megan and Josh's wedding had a creative and vintage themed touch.

A Honeymoon Fund jar served as both a creative reception decoration and as a humorous reminder for guests to gift them with a wedding present.
The backyard was decorated with bright purple gerbera flowers that were placed in glass jars with multicolored strings and held together by two pins that featured romantic and witty sayings.
Both Megan and Josh's wedding ensembles matched the outdoor climate of the wedding. Megan chose a midi-length and vintage inspired wedding gown with a sweatheart neckline, as well as a birdcage DIY veil. Josh similarly donned a laidback outfit of khaki shorts and a light blue button down.
The assortment of cupcakes were made special with cute accents like these better together cupcake toppers.
Megan and Josh made their own homemade strawberry jam for guests to take home with them after the wedding.
Instead of a traditional guest book, the bride and groom painted a white mailbox with their handprints and names for guests to place handwritten wedding cards inside of.
Megan's bridesmaids wore strapless dresses in different jewel tones of purple, dark pink, blue or green, all colors that matched the hue of Megan's DIY bouquet.
The wedding programs were a DIY product courtesy of both Megan and Josh's combined effort. A funny twist was given to the name of each section of the program, such as Rings and Things.
Megan crafted her own bouquet out of colorfully patterned papers and quirky buttons, including one stamped with the letter 'M' on it.
Guests were treated to decadent flavored cupcakes that had Scrabble letters arranged in front of them to spell out the flavor.
