An Antique Barn Wedding at Spring Ranch in Mendocino, California

Natalie Guilbault (33 and a spin instructor) met Jefferson Mayo (39 and a project manager) when she mistakenly confused him for his twin brother whom she had met a week earlier. They began seeing each other every weekend and became good friends. On New Year's Eve two years later, they found each other at midnight and finally had their first kiss which quickly turned their friendship into a relationship and soon after, Jeff proposed. The ceremony was held outdoors near the bluff above Mendocino Bay, giving Natalie and Jeff a beautiful seaside backdrop. The neutral colors of the location were played up with bright floral aisle decorations and scattered brightly colored flower petals. For the reception, guests headed to Spring Ranch, a two-story barn displaying vintage farm tools and a large outdoor fireplace. Natalie wanted to play up the rustic charm of the venue and added decorations of antique china tea pots and mason jars filled with candles and flowers. Their long family style dinner tables were accompanied by mismatched wooden chairs and neutral settings topped with small pops of color in bright flowers. As a special thank you, Natalie and Jeff made s'mores kits which their guests could roast by the outdoor fireplace.
