Curiouser and curiouser! This "Alice in Wonderland"-themed wedding goes down the rabbit hole and into a world of ideas we love. Miranda Reeves (27 and an information designer) and Lance Powers (29 and an entrepreneur) spared no detail, including everything from vintage pocket watches to Mad Hatter hats to roses painted red. “I love the 1865 edition of 'Alice in Wonderland,' ” Miranda says. “The pictures and the garden from that are what inspired me.” The couple knew they wanted to have a garden feel for their wedding—a place surrounded by trees and rose bushes (like in the book)—and Hudson Gardens in Littleton, Colorado, was the perfect wonderland. Molly O'Brien from Events Remembered helped ensure the day didn’t go mad and perfected the pastel details throughout the decor. We loved the tea-party-inspired menu complete with scones (yes, they did have little “Eat Me” signs on them) and the asymmetrical wedding cake made by Miranda’s cousin. The blush and ivory cake was decorated with fondant hearts and swirls and topped with his and her Mad Hatter hats. We are so impressed that Miranda and Lance made (or found) a lot of the decor themselves, such as the on-point infamous quote signs, playing card-escort cards and even more than 100 vintage teacups found by Miranda’s mother. See all our favorite details, beautifully captured by Katie Brewer with KB Digital Designs, below.

The bridesmaids wore custom cocktail-length strapless chiffon dresses from Dress Creative on Etsy. Each bridesmaid wore a different-colored pastel dress for a soft romantic flair. Wanting to add glamour to their look -- in honor of the 'Alice in Wonderland' theme -- they accessorized with multiple statement necklaces and bangle bracelets.
Miranda and her aunt made all the stationery and signs for the day. Throughout the decor, they displayed signs with photos from the 1865 'Alice in Wonderland' and famous sayings such as the White Rabbit’s, “I’m late, I’m late for a very important date.” Others included sayings like, “Sometimes I think of six impossible things before breakfast.”
Sparing no detail with the 'Alice in Wonderland' theme, Miranda and Lance even displayed a small rosebush where the white roses looked as if they had been painted red.
Queen of Hearts-Inspired Paint Decor
The groom and groomsmen each carried vintage silver pocket watches with their initials engraved onto the front. The White Rabbit-inspired detail was perfect for the wedding's 'Alice in Wonderland' theme.
The bridesmaids carried soft, simple bouquets from florist Newberry Brothers. The flowers perfectly matched the pastel color palette and added a little romance to whimsical 'Alice in Wonderland' theme. The gorgeous arrangements included roses, Queen Anne’s lace, sweet peas and leaves.
Miranda and Lance exchanged vows at Hudson Gardens in Littleton, Colorado, because they loved the lush garden feel. The oversize rose bushes provided a romantic backdrop for their nuptials. As if the swoon-worthy views weren’t enough reason to love the venue, it even had fountains.

Glamorous Pink Crystal Reception Chandeliers
The reception tables were decorated with brown paisley and coral bow Mad Hatter-inspired hats. A playing car was stuck in each one to number the tables. In addition, Miranda’s mother found more than 25 mismatched teapots and more than 100 tea cups for the 'Alice in Wonderland'-themed wedding.
'Alice in Wonderland'-Inspired Vintage Dinnerware
Inspired by the 1865 edition of 'Alice in Wonderland', Miranda and Lance added fun details throughout the decor like little “Eat me!” signs on the scones. Miranda and Lance served scones, sandwiches and cupcake macaroni and cheese.
Miranda and Lance enjoyed an asymmetrical wedding cake that was made by Miranda’s cousin. The cake combined the pastel color palette and 'Alice in Wonderland' influences, such as the hearts on the second tier and the bride and groom Mad Hatter cake topper.
