An Alice in Wonderland Inspired Wedding at 620 Loft & Gardens in New York, New York

Mneera (28) and Abdulla's (27 and a Columbia Business School student) whimsical wedding was inspired by Alice in Wonderland. "I love all the Disney fairytales I grew up with. I wanted my wedding to look and feel like a dream in the midst of reality--whimsical and ethereal in the middle of the big city," Mneera says. The couple passed on a traditional ceremony and instead just held a joyous reception on a rooftop garden overlooking New York. Bright pops of pink peonies decorated the tables and the small manmade pond on the roof was decorated with dahlias and candles, adding to the whimsical look of the wedding. Vintage furniture, books, and pocket watches were used for decor, which added to the Alice and Wonderland theme. Mneera wore a gorgeous Zuhair Murad gown, with Stuart Weitzman Cinderella shoes, modeled after Cinderella's glass slippers.
