An Airy, Elegant Wedding at Rosemont Manor in Berryville, Virginia

Daniel Kim (26 and a due diligence field examiner) and Lauren Shin (24 and an accounting specialist) met while they were both attending the University of Maryland. Two years later, Danny took Lauren on a surprise trip for a week. Everyday, he planned a date doing things that neither of them had ever done before. On the last day, he took Lauren to a botanical garden and proposed to her in the three different languages. "He really took the surprise to the next level," says Lauren. For their wedding, the couple chose a color scheme of teal and gold inspired by a painting Lauren once saw. "Style wise, we wanted a simple, elegant look filled with a sense of charm and grace." Their romantic summer wedding took place at the Rosemont Manor in Berryville, Virginia. The outdoor ceremony's beautiful pink flower arrangements of lilies, peonies, orchids, hydrangeas and roses were echoed in the centerpieces at the bright and airy reception. Sheer white linens were draped across the ceiling with string lights, and the turquoise linens and gold accents contrasted beautifully throughout the inviting space. The festivities were in full swing after the wedding party, led by Lauren's brothers, danced their way into the reception. Feasting on an elaborate blue and white cake, Danny and Lauren celebrated their love with their family and friends at this lovely and elegant affair.
