After a neighborly visit the next day, Amy decided to overlook the early-morning disturbance because Stuart had the cutest smile she'd ever seen. Amy wore an ivory mikado satin A-line gown with a low scoop neck and antique lace detailing from House of Bianchi. Her maids were gorgeous in two-piece wine-color dresses from Lord & Taylor.
To add to the dramatic air of the church, a large wine-colored velvet drape was hung behind the altar; and candles on tall iron candelabra decorated with magnolia and winterberries filled every nook. The couple asked Stuart's father, a Protestant reverend, to officiate the ceremony.
