Patrick's cousin, Monsignor James Matteo, who had married Patrick's three siblings, flew in from Philadelphia to preside over the couple's St. Mary's Cathedral Basilica ceremony.
The First Dance
The bridesmaids wore two-piece strapless gowns by Bill Levkoff.
Father Matteo said a blessing and then guests enjoyed a three-course dinner and wedding cake. As a special touch, a picture of Amy's parents on their wedding day was placed beside the wedding cake, and a photo from Patrick's parents' wedding day was placed next to the groom's cake.
We thought a Galveston wedding would be more vacation-friendly then the fast-paced environment of Houston, Amy explains. After margaritas and Mexican food on Thursday and seafood and harbor views on Friday, they celebrated their wedding with 110 guests.
