Even though Amy turned down an invitation to go to the Red Sox vs. Yankees game with Mark—to be fair, Sox fans, she was traveling!—Mark still called her again and asked her out to dinner. One problem: Amy had just taken a job in Florida. Mark didn’t let that stop him, and he bought a ticket to go see her. “I think we both knew that was it,” says Amy. The couple decided to have their wedding in Boston, the city where they met and plan to settle down. They chose the Washburn Pavilion for their venue (“We love the views and it had space for our nearly 300 guests!” says Amy), and decorated the space with hues of copper, blush and brown.
