THE BRIDE Amy Wasgatt THE GROOM Luke Howarth THE DATE June 26 Amy, 28, a strategic accounts relationship manager at a financial firm, and Luke Howarth, 30, a metro market manager for a sales and recruiting company, first met as sophomore dorm-mates at Boston College. After almost eight years of dating (some of it long-distance), Luke proposed to Amy, and the two began planning a wedding at the bride’s family home on the Cape. Family became the theme that tied together the many parts of the celebration, as both the bride and the groom come from large extended families.
